Feels quite a bit older. Handheld tech has come along nicely.
Seeing this side by side actually made me think that if the full game is a direct remaster, or at least 90% of it, then Bamco already have a near complete localisation they can use. They certainly have a foothold to bring in a bigger audience for God Eater outside of Japan. Hopefully they drop the plural, too.

The dub voice actors never use the plural at all and I think it was something like 2-3 months before the English release that they filed a second trademark for 'Gods'. Pretty bizarre if you ask me. It was also exclusive to one store where I'm from so Bamco really screwed it up. But I agree. This series has had me head over heels since day one and I know other people would get on board if Bamco treated it with the respect it deserves. Rage Burst and Resurrection are beacons of hope. And hopefully the anime will be popular enough to increase the demand for those. ...I'll probably keep importing them regardless. |

They do have a registered trademark for 'God Eater' so it had to be on the distribution side. No worries. What do you think of the new predator forms? Going into burst state from a mid-jump sounds like it will fit perfectly into my fighting style. |
